Examples of indirect disclosures would include personal information you choose to make public or available to other Girls Rock members while participating in various activities on the Site or Service; such as: chat, forum, words of encouragement, game comments, filling-out your user profile, entering sweepstakes or other contests, responding to surveys, or subscribing to the Girls Rock newsletters or other mailing lists. Additional information (e.g., addresses, payment/banking/financial information, credit card, etc.) may be collected when uploading an originally created game for ad revenue share (e.g., "Developer" section) or making a purchase (e.g., "Store" module). .

We may collect non-personally identifiable information from you, such as: screen name, birthday, gender, state, zip code and country. This Site may also use passive tracking technologies to capture other forms of non-identifiable information such as IP address, browser type, and browsing patterns. We may also employ "Cookies," "Web Beacons," "Log File information," and/or other technologies that help us analyze demographic information, site usage, customize the delivery of information, control the display of advertising, record registration, provide additional functionality and, in general, help us administer the Site and Service. Online Sweepstakes or Contests
Girls Rock may occasionally offer an online Sweepstake or Contest. These activities will have their own Rules, Terms, Conditions and Disclosures and those will be posted next to Sweepstake/Contest as appropriate. Per the particular Sweepstakes/Contest's Rules, Terms, Conditions, and Disclosures, the information collected may be passed to third-party Sponsor(s) of the Sweepstake/Contest (e.g., the organization that is offering the free prize in the Sweepstake or Contest) and/or a fulfillment house(s) which may use the information to help run the Sweepstake/Contest.
Newsletter Subscriptions/Mailing Lists
At any time the eNewsletter recipient has the opportunity to stop their subscription by following the "unsubscribe" instructions found at the end of any of the Girls Rock newsletter emails.
All information collected for Girls Rock newsletters is used to send the electronic newsletter and may be transferred, disclosed, or shared with third parties who may be engaged by us specifically to handle the preparation and delivery of the electronic newsletter and perform other related technical and processing functions. We may combine the information you submit to us or post within the Site with publicly available information or information we obtain from third parties to provide you advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you. These advertisements may come directly from us or through third party advertising companies.
We may disclose non-personally-identifiable information (such as site usage) with third-parties (e.g., business partners) to assist them in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, etc. on Girls Rock. For example, with a game developer whose application informs you through email that your friend is currently playing a game you might also like to play.

Many of them include their own (independent of Girls Rock) third-party advertising (e.g., In Game Advertising) and other external (non Girls Rock related, not placed by Girls Rock) links. In addition, Girls Rock may intentionally choose to include or place links to other third party sites and services that are both game and nongame related. All of these third party games, sites, links and associated advertising are operated by companies that are outside of Girls Rock control, and your activities with those games and services and at those sites will be governed by the policies and practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of those third parties before disclosing any personally identifiable information, as Girls Rock is not responsible for the privacy practices of those games, sites, and/or services.
We use standard and reasonable technological and procedural safeguards to protect the information you provide. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the GirlsRock.com (the Site and Service) and you do so at your own risk. When choosing a password, please select number and letter combinations that would be difficult for a third party individual or hacking program to determine. Please always protect your password by not sharing it with anyone else and be smart about preventing its unauthorized access or disclosure. Although we make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of our safeguards.
